ATLANTA, GA  (October 10, 2024) – The final Champion for the 2024 SCCL Cup was crowned last night at Marathon Park.  Due to the very deep pool of talent at the U19B level, the Champion could not be crowned on Championship Monday with the rest of the  SCCL Cup winners over Labor Day Weekend.  The winners of the semi-finals on that Labor Dad Monday advanced to last night’s championship match.

NTH NASA 06-07 SCCL ELITE and SSA SWARM MARIETTA 06/07B MC I met up under the lights to determine the champion.  NASA took a 2-0 lead by half-time.  SSA would rally back with a banger of a goal hitting  the inside of the post to make it 2-2 late in the game.  It looked to be going to overtime, until NASA found the back of the net to make it a final of 3-2.  

The win secures NASA an automatic bid to the July 2025 US Club Nationals Cup in Denver, CO.  The team is no stranger to the contest as this past year they won the US Club Southeast Regionals to advance to the finals in 2024.
